January Special Edition Valentines GLOSSYBOX ♥

Ok Ok i know i said last month that i was literally bursting with excitement to share the December GLOSSYBOX box with you but this month is literally on another level!!! I am bursting at the seems, its has been the longest couple of days everrrrr as i have had this box since Thursday but can now finally share it with you.

I guess you of have probably noticed that this months box is HOT PINK!!!!!!!

Its not in its signature dusty pink box but like the special December Red box GLOSSYBOX have pulled out all the stops with a bright Hot Pink Box for Valentines Day.

I have just got to put it out there now......

I am literally in love with the hot pink box and really really really wish hope and pray that GLOSSYBOX may make this permanent......pleeeeeease ;)

It makes it so super unique and i think any girl would be happy with the colour combination...don't you agree?

The baby pink stuffing, grey ribbon and super cute hot pink heart really make this box something special and all the colours together look so cute and i am going to definitely keep this box out on my dressing table for the whole world to see!

So on to the products in this months box...

Davines Authentic Moisturising Balm - This is a moisturising, organic, safflower oil based balm with a trebel action. It can be used on hair, face and body. You can use it as a make-up remover and also you can use it for an intense body moisturiser on damp skin. You can also use it on the ends of your hair for intense moisture. Its such a versatile product and with a generous sample of 75ml you really can get to try out the all possibilities and find out whats best for you!

Davines Authentic Cleansing Nectar - Again a really versatile product for body and hair. This is a super moisturising shower gel with an oily texture. It can also be used as a shampoo however if you suffer with oily hair i would say this isn't for you. I am really interested in Davines as a brand now that i have been introduced to a few products. I love that the formula's are made from 98-100% natural origin ingredients. They also smell really lovely with a hint of citrus, floral and cedarwood!

FAB Gentle Body Wash - Slightly disappointing that there is 2 body wash products in this months box however i have been really impressed by FAB products from a previous sample in a previous box and i am really loving this body wash. It is great for my sensitive skin and with only a slight scent my skin is really loving it. I just wish there wasn't 2 body wash products in the box :(

Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner - I was really excited to see this product in my box as i have been so interested by Eyeko since they had a make over as i loved all of their original products and have wanted to try some of the newer products for a while. In my box was a skinny eyeliner in the colour 'powder pink' From the swatch above you may think that the eyeliner is not even visible and so not pigmented however as its such a pale pink shade it works perfectly in the water line to really brighten the eye. I wear a flesh toned pencil in my water line pretty much every day so even though 'powder pink' isn't the most adventurous bold colour it look gorgeous on the water line. It works even better than my current pencil of choice as this has so much more of a pink tone to it and makes my green eyes really stand out!!

Murad Hybrids Skin Pefecting Primer Dewy Finish - This is a 2-in-1 problem solver which provides a shine free finish that creates a smooth canvas. Hiding any imperfections and pores whilst giving a dewy healthy look. This has adaptive technology meaning the flesh tone product adapts to your skin tone. It is an oil free formula which is also available in a matte finish rather than a dewy finish. I have some bad boy pores on my nose and this really helps to minimise them which i love!!

Also included is a cute GLOSSYBOX mint which you can see in one of the pictures above.

I will be honest this isn't my favourite GLOSSYBOX products wise...box wise i adore it but i feel there have been better products in other boxes. I have also seen that there has been some Clarins products in other boxes this month and to be honest i am soooo disappointed i didn't receive those products as i love Clarins!! This is the only negative i have about GLOSSYBOX is that not all boxes are the same which is such a shame.

Don't get me wrong there are 3 stand out products for me which i have been using since i received the box and love but there have been other products i have loved more in previous months.

I still get uber excited for my GLOSSYBOX every month do you??

' I Need You' Guest Blogging

So exactly 2 weeks from today i will be jetting off to the Philippines for a month and i literally can't wait however this does mean for a month my blog may not be very 'active' I will have Internet whilst i am there but its not very reliable and i can't guarantee i will always be able to blog.

I of course want to take you all on my holiday with me and do 'holiday post's' which i will try my best to do however reviews and general make-up post's really wont be possible.

Round 2 | The Amazing Japonesque Brushes ♥

You may remember a couple of weeks ago i introduced you all to some new brushes from an up and coming brand Japonesque..you can read my original review HERE!

Well today i have some more brushes to share with you as i was very kindly sent some more after my previous review.

If you are totally new to Japonesque and haven't seen my previous review then definitely check it out as i give an in depth introduction into the brand.

I have four more of the travel brushes and love these even more...i really am falling more and more in love with Japonesque Brushes.

I am going to start with my favourite brush from the four as i literally cant keep my excitement in...you all just neeeed to know about this brush.

The brush i am talking about is the Angled Foundation brush..a synthetic brush. Now i am one for using a large flat top brush to buff my foundation in quick and easy. I originally loved a traditional foundation brush then found it started making my foundation really streaky so at imats last year i purchased a large flat top brush which i have been using ever since...little did i know this was doing me no favours. When i first used the Japonesque Angled Foundation brush with my usual M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid Foundation i thought it was applying my foundation really evenly and quite thin..this wasn't a bad thing as i was still getting the same amount of coverage of course as i was still using the same foundation. It was applying my foundation like a dream, the brush is so incredibly soft for a synthetic brush and the bristles are really flexible meaning you get lots of movement with the brush. I was able to get into all those small annoying areas as the brush is angled. It may take a little longer than buffing your foundation but boy does it give a better finish. I realised after the first time i used it that my usual way of applying my foundation was in theory 'caking' it on making it look far too heavy. The Japonesque Angled Foundation Brush makes it even and gives it more of a natural finish which is what all us girls love.

I 100% love this brush and am now so happy i have a holy grail foundation and holy grail brush. I never ever thought i would go back to using a synthetic foundation brush!

The Eyeshadow Crease brush is definitely another favourite. A short dense natural bristle brush perfect for creating a smokey eye. This brush is super soft and the perfect shape and size for my crease. It is dense but you get a lot of movement from it meaning working the brush backwards and forwards in the crease is so quick and easy!

Now the Angled Brow Definer is pretty similar to the angled brush i reviewed previously but it is much smaller. It is more of a precision brush so you can create even more perfect brow shapes. It is designed to give you the perfect arch or 'Scouse Brow' as its now known ;) Who doesn't love a sScouse Brow?? If its good enough for Kate Middleton its good enough for me! I know i love a statement brow so like the other angled brush this has become a firm favourite in my make-up bag!

Last up in the Concealer brush. A flat synthetic brush. Now i only ever use a flat concealer brush for blemishes, i always use a fluffy brush for my dark circles so i must admit i have only been using this brush in certain areas. For me a flat concealer brush just doesn't cover up my bad boy dark circles..they are hideous and need some extra help in the mornings. For covering up small areas though it is perfect..it is really soft and is the perfect size. Another great use i found for this brush is to use it with my highlighter for under my brow bone..tis perfect!!

NOTD Orly Oh Cabana Boy!

Hey girls

I was having a ponder in Boots the other day and had loads of points on my Boots card so i thought why not treat myself to Orly Oh Cabana Boy!

I know, i know..your all probably thinking that in my last post i said i was loving the dark vampy colours from O.P.I well i saw this on fleurs blog and i just had to have it and share it with you.

Its not very in season but it just had to be done :)

This is the brightest pink i have ever seen..it is literally a fluorescent pink with blue undertones and slight blue shimmer!!

Its literally amazing!

Application was a dream like all Orly products and i cant wait to show it off ;)

This will 'fo sure' be my 'go to' colour in the summer & for my holiday next month.

O.P.I Best Of The Best | Review & Swatches ♥

I have to say i love a lot of these colours and there are one or two that i was really super disappointed with.

Alpine Snow and You Don't Know Jacques! were the two i was totally disappointed with..Alpine Snow was just a streaky mess and You Don't Know Jacques! was a lot more of a green colour that i thought it was going to be just from looking at it in the bottle!

My favourites have to be I'm Not Really a Waitress, Lincoln Park After Dark, Cajun Shrimp, Strawberry Margarita and Tickle My France-y. I must admit i am pretty damn new to O.P.I Nail Lacquers, i mean i have a few of the Limited Edition shades that most crazy bloggers go wild for but with the 'main' shades i guess i have just always by passed them and i cannot believe that it has taken me so so long to try Lincoln Park After Dark, isn't it pretty much the most 'famous' O.P.I shade ever? I have heard so much about it during my few years as an avid beauty blogger however never took the plunge with actually purchasing...never late than never hey?! Its basically black with a hint of purple/plum and its the most perfect dark vampy colour and i am pretty pleased i have discovered it now as i still have a few more months to wear it before it lies to bed whilst my brights come out to play for summer!

I now can't wait for Spring/Summer so i can show case Cajun Shrimp and Strawberry Margarita!!

I am now officially an O.P.I convert!!

Why The Philippines?

In one of my recent posts i briefly mentioned to you all that i am off to The Philippines in February and soooo many of you were interested as to why i chose The Philippines as my holiday destination and if i have ever been before...so i thought i would share with you why i go to the Philippines.

My gorgeous boyfriend is Filipino :)

I am sure most of you have seen him before in some of my posts but if not meet Ryan ♥

We have been together for 4 Years in April and took our first trip together to the Philippines in November 2009!

My first time in the Philippines was absolutely incredibly and i fell totally in love with the country and couldn't wait to return and we finally are in less than a month!!!

I literally can't wait! We stay in Ryan's family home in Manila. In 2009 we also travelled to Boracay and Hong Kong however this time round we have yet to decide where else we want to go and if we want to at all. We crammed a lot in to the trip last time around so didn't see to much of Manila.

I did share with you all at the time a video of my pictures however this was over 2 years ago now so a lot of my new followers and those of you who were interested may never have seen that so i thought i would share some of them with you now :)

I'm so excited to be returning and i of course with blog my time away...that's if you want to see it of course ;P

December Christmas Edition Joliebox 2011

I do apologise that this is a seriously over due post but i am just trying to catch up from my little Christmas break.

I am sure you have all seen the December Christmas Edition Joliebox however i just wanted to share my thoughts with you as well.

I'm sure some of you may be wondering who Joliebox are as they are pretty new for us on the beauty box scene. Well the once known Boudoir Prive Box has now joined forces with the leading French beauty box Joliebox and have created the boxes of all boxes ;P

Boudoir Prive is now known as Joliebox UK

The colour scheme from Boudoir Prive is now out the window and in is a sleek much smaller sophisticated black box with a cream, red and black interior.

I am happy they have decided to steer away from the pink box as i feel it mimicked other boxes on the market too much and now Joliebox has its own identification.

Each box still has the same chic French flavour, contains 5 or 6 deluxe samples and the price and payments will remain the same.

Wow what a lot of products hey with some added bonus products which is always a win.

Now i really like the majority of the products in this box however there are 2 i really wont use and 1 i absolutely LOVE ♥

Kusmi Detox Tea just really isn't for me and i am glad it was a bonus product as i would have been really disappointed if it was included in the 5 or 6 deluxe samples of the box. I know some people will really enjoy this but it just really isn't for me.

Also i really don't get on with the Jane Iredale 24 - Karat Gold Dust. I have the shade silver and to be honest really really don't see the point in it? Why would i use a silver shimmer powder for a highlight? I could possibly use it on my eyes but definitely not on my face or cheeks. It did say i was getting the rose gold shade on my card and i think i would have really loved that. Rose gold sounds so much more gorgeous than a silver glittery mess.

My favourite product from the box is the New CID Cosmetics i-gloss in the shade Baby Doll. I have been intrigued by New CID Cosmetics for a long time now so was excited to see this in my box. Baby Doll is a stunning coral shade with an ever slight hint of gold shimmer. The most amazing thing about the product is that it is a light up lipgloss which means it has a light attached which comes a light when you un screw the lid. Not only does it have the light it has a mirror on the side of it so when you are out and about in the dark or at a party you can re apply your lipgloss perfectly. Gimmicky or not i adore it and think its a fab idea.

Overall i am happy with this box as there are some products i will definitely use and i love the new look and the marriage with Joliebox

Happy New Year Everyone.

I hope you all had an amazing new year...mine was pretty chilled as yet again i was working, swear i have worked the whole holidays this year oh wait i have *rolls eyes* That's what i get for working at the airport i suppose.

Sorry this is a late blogpost i know you are all now probably settled back into work whilst being a little wind swept on arrival (wasn't the weather utterly crazy today) i did venture out as i had to have my first ever filling eeeek great start to 2012 but at least its all sorted now. Anyway i am rambling i really wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year and i guess write this blogpost and start fresh with the year from here now :)

I have had a HUUUUUGE increase in blog followers in the last week or so which has really made me smile and made me really want to keep fully committed to my blog...

So HELLO to all my new followers...Welcome do come in :)

It is a pleasure to have you and i look forward to sharing with you lots more exciting products and adventures over the next 12 months.

I was going to do a separate new years resolutions post but i figured the main few for you guys to know about are....

I want to blog at least 3 times a week. Originally it was everyday but realistically with my job and working shift work it just isn't possible so i have given myself the target of 3 times and if i do more wahay but if not then i think 3 is a good amount?? Let me know what you think.

Along with the blogging 3 times a week i also want to do monthly favourite post's. I have never been fully committed to this and i really want to be from January. I use so many different products and discover so many products which i don't always blog about but i feel doing monthly favourites will mean i will get to feature more products which may normally have gone a miss on my blog.

I want to be more organised with my life and with my blog. I got a gorgeous Moleskin diary for Christmas and i have already started planning my life in there. I am quite an organised person anyway but since moving out of my family home and living with my boyfriend things have to be even more organised and with my blog i just want to keep on top of emails and such and such :)

Use a face mask 3 times a week. I got the Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask in the January Sales and i really want to use it religiously..i do stick to a skin care routine but never a face mask and seeing at the Bliss Triple Oxygen is so quick and easy to use and that i am already seeing results i really want to get in the habit of using it 3 times a week.

So they are my 4 'blog' as such new years resolutions.

I am going away in February for a month to the Philippines (more on that in another post as soooo many of you are interested as to why i go to the Philippines on holiday and where i stay and so on) so during the month of February i will be after some Guest Bloggers but again i will do a separate post on this as well.

Oooo i nearly forgot as i reached over 2000 followers i will be holding a Giveaway soon so keep and eye out for that.

Ladies and Gentlemen I have the pleasure of writing on Sophie is made up's blog! In case you don't know, my name's Ryan and I'm Sophie's boyfriend :)

Most morning's, I hear a doorbell and have to run downstairs and open the door to the postman who usually delivers loads of packages and parcels, 99% of the time for Sophie!

It so happened that the postman came quite late in the day once I had already set off for work so when I got back, there was a note for me to pick up a package from the post office depot about 10 minutes’ drive away from the house, again, in Sophie's name!

The next day I picked it up early in the blisteringly cold morning and to my surprise, it was a GlossyBox for MEN! I remembered Sophie telling me about GlossyBox making one for men and me thinking, finally! Something for me! lol..

I got home after work and opened the packaging to find a warm stone coloured GlossyBox, filled with 8 products nestled between some black, crimpled paper with a well presented information card.

The men’s edition Glossybox will come quarterly and will feature an expert’s wish list of top-picks for the season ahead! There is a mixture of high end brands you may know and other brands which you may not have heard of before, but are chosen by experts for our consuming pleasure.

As my hair is currently buzzed cut to a grade 1, I could not test the Goldwell Lagoon Jam Volume Gel as there is hardly any hair to try it on! I will save it for the New Year when I shall grow it back again and get back with the results! I must admit, it is handy to have a 25ml pot of gel in your pocket as my hair style would usually consist of really short sides and a rather spiked up Mohican on the top and back! Handy for when you need a quick touch up!

When I opened the GlossyBox, I was really interested in the Shaveworks, The Cool Fix Gel because when I do shave, sometimes I can suffer from irritation right afterwards. I used this product and found that after shaving, it gave me a cooling-tingle sensation which actually felt really nice! The scent was fresh and was absorbed into the skin really quickly. As for reducing razor bumps and treating ingrown hairs, I will have to continue testing it over a longer period of time, but I am sure men out there would appreciate this product, especially those who suffer from ingrown hairs!

I was also interested in the Murad Clarifying Mask as I suffer from sensitive skin, which breaks out when I use stronger, non-sensitive products. The Murad Clarifying Mask has within its natural ingredients, a sulphur acne treatment which is great news for the acne sufferers out there, of which I am one! After applying the mask, I left it on for about 10 minutes and found that if you looked in the mirror, you could see where the mask had drawn out any excess oil from the skin! Afterwards, I washed it off with warm water and my face felt smooth and supple! I would recommend you moisturise afterwards if you have sensitive skin!

With a large collection of men’s perfume, I must admit I was quite pleased when I saw two different Yves Saint Laurant vials of perfume to test out; The La Buit de L’Homme and L’Homme! Again, very handy as you can test out perfumes you may never have thought to try! Out of the both, I would say I preferred the classic L’Homme as it wasn’t too overpowering as it radiated a warm woody scent. If however you wanted a more spicy oriental woodland scent then I would recommend the La Brut de L’Homme.

Handily, GlossyBox provided within this Winter Edition a MONU, Virtu Energy Rub which I could only describe as a soothing massage gel! It states that it is good for calming any bruising or inflammation and will nourish and freshen you skin! I got Sophie to give me a quick shoulder massage and the first thing that struck me was the scent, Oriental infused woodland perhaps! It was quite a thin gel that your skin soaks up quick quickly! Immediately I felt a cooling sensation afterwards and in the morning, I must admit my shoulders felt great! Definitely one to try!

I took two products into the shower which was the Monu, Virtu Conditioning Body Wash and the Goldwell, Duelsenses for Men Hair & Body Shampoo! The Goldwell shampoo was amazing! So amazing, I used it twice in one shower session! The scent was fantastic, subtle hints of vanilla and other soothing fragrances, and my hair (what there is of it lol) feels really clean and shiny! Came out the bottle a clear gel and felt light and was easy to lather! GlossyBox, you did well with this one!

The Monu Virtu body wash really took me by surprise! Came out a pearlescent white and once I had lathered it up, the fragrance put a smile on my face! A sweet lemon scent which I felt if it was a cake, you would eat it! It left my skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturised. Very happy again with this product.

Overall I was extremely pleased with the items within the Winter Edition GlossyBox! There is an obvious niche market for these and I am sure men country wide would appreciate a better grooming experience by trialling, and potentially purchasing full size versions of these products!

I think my boyfriend is going to put me out of business ;p What a fab review and i hope you enjoyed it.

What did Santa bring me?

Hello everyone.

Long time no speak...tut tut on my behalf, nearly 2 weeks without a post? That's crazy and i do really apologise. Christmas and working really took over and i literally didn't even have time to turn my laptop on..i just don't know where the days were going. It didn't help that i worked all of Christmas including Christmas day so whilst spending time with my family and trying to enjoy the festivities whilst working was difficult so my blog had to take a rest for a while and to be honest it was nice to have a little time out.

I am making a few new years resolutions this year with regards to my blog but i will let you know what they are in a separate post but hopefully it will mean i wont disappear for nearly 2 weeks and post should be 100% consistent.

Anyway i hope you all had an amazing Christmas and got all you wished for. If you don't celebrate Christmas i hope you had a fantastic holiday!

I was totally spoilt this Christmas and got so much more than i wished for! My main present was money for my holiday to the Philippines in February so above is all the little extra gifts i was given from my family, friends and my boyfriend Ryan :)

There is a lot for me to list but i will be reviewing a lot of what i got over the next few weeks however please let me know if there is anything in particular that you would like me to review.

'Christmas is Coming' China Glaze Party Hearty!

It is officially a week until Christmas!!! Hands up who is excited??

I thought it was the perfect time to dig out my favourite crimbo sparkly nail polish...

China Glaze Party Hearty!

I used a gold base just from 17 then applied around 3 layers of Party Hearty. Three layers is quite a lot but its not the most opaque thick glitter but never the less i still loves it and think i now have the perfect Christmas nails.

Japonesque Amazing Brushes ♥

Japonesque have a huge range of brushes from the pro range to travel range and i was sent 4 brushes from the travel range. Don't be put off by the travel range though as they still feature all the same qualities as all the other brushes they just simply have shorter handles.

The angled eyeliner brush and brow/lash comb have now become staple brushes used in my daily routine to create the statement brow i love. The angled brush in the most perfect size and is really dense meaning you can create great shapes easily!

I actually swear by a small smudger brush and use one everyday from M.A.C so i was happy to see this one from Japonesque. If i am totally honest my new Japonesque brush has totally taken my M.A.C brush place..its much more softer and not so dense meaning you can blend so much easier and its not as harsh. I use this brush to run eyeshadow along my lower lash line so you definitely need a soft brush for they eye area and this Japonesque ones works just perfectly.

Now i think i have saved the best till last here...the travel powder brush is truly the most amazing powder brush i have ever used. I absolutely love using this when applying my powder..it is such a soft brush and its domed shaped which means it doesn't pick up too much product just enough to give a flawless finish. My usual powder brush does pick up a lot of product and doesn't distribute it evenly like this brush. It is the most perfect size to fit in my make-up bag. I will just say i had a little problem with shedding when i first used this brush however once washed for the first time it is now perfect and doesn't shed at all.

When it comes to my make-up addiction i can happily say that this doesn't include brushes. I have a few nice ones from M.A.C, Inglot, Sleek, and Elf and don't like to spend too much on brushes as i think you can still get fab brushes out there for a little less of the price, which is why i love Japonesque. It will be so nice to pop into Boots to pick up any new brushes i need for a great price. I don't think they are high street prices i think they are a little more like 'highend' drugstore prices however for the quality of the brushes and them being available on the high street i think they are great..could i say high street anymore?? ;p

A Shatter Nail Polish Which I LOVE ♥ OPI Blue Shatter

I know i am way behind on the old shatter polish phase but to be honest i never quite joined the bandwagon fully, i got some shatter polishes and liked them but never 'loved' them so they ended up never being used again..until i came across this amazing OPI Blue Shatter!

I instantly knew from the bottle that i was going to love it so i painted my nails with it tonight i had to tell you all about it right away. Yes it is just a shatter polish but the blue is the most stunning bright ocean shimmery blue..to me its so different to any other shatter polishes i have seen. I actually spotted this is my staff shop at work..win!!

I have teamed it with a bright coral pink colour and i think it works perfectly!

Also i know these nails aren't exactly Christmassy but i just love the combo and will be pretty happy showing this off at work tomorrow ;p

December Special Edition GlossyBox

I have literally been bursting with excitement to reveal this months GlossyBox with you all and i have had it since Friday..its been a long weekend :p

I think you all would have noticed by now but this months GlossyBox is a special edition Christmas box and its not in the signature dusty pink box its RED! I absolutely love the colour its so bright and glossy (no pun intended ;p) and to me feels a lot more luxurious plus its always nice to have a change and mix it up a bit.

Now the November box was Part 1, the foundations for the Christmas boxes and now the December box is the fun and sparkly one..the one to really get you in that festive mood and to really sprinkle on the glitter.

To me this box has been seriously thought out as it contains an array of items you 100% need for a Christmas Party!

Shall i just stop waffling on and get to the products???

Cargo Cosmetics Classic Lip Gloss

I believe there will be 5 different shades shared around everyones box and the shade i got was Paris...perfect name and perfect shade. A rosy pink with a slight shimmer. Such a beautiful lipgloss, glides on effortlessly and leaves the lips silky smooth and not with a huge sticky mess like most lipglosses. The perfect handbag/clutch size as well.

Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle Mini Nail Varnish & Stripped To Go Sachet

A deep purple pink colour jam packed with huge amounts of small finely milled glitter..one that will take an age to take off but you just cant stop wearing and staring at. Lucky for us also included in a handy nail polish remover finger mitt. I haven't used this set yet as i don't think i will get away with the colour at work so keep and eye out for a NOTD soon.

FAB Face Cleanser

This really is a FAB cleanser...wow i am on a roll with these aren't i?? Ok i will stop now! Seriously though this is such a gentle, mild cleanser which is suitable for all skin types. It removes surface oils, skin toxins, make-up, dirt and grime. It is also said to reduce redness and skin reactivity with regular use..i haven't used this enough yet to really see that happening but this this generous sample size of 1.0 oz I'm hoping in the next few weeks i will see a different. It is also paraben free which is always a bonus!

Nouveau Lahses Noir Mascara

Now I'm sure you are all so intrigued and excited about this because i know i was. A mascara in a GlossyBox?? I think this is an exciting first!! This mascara is said to be a quick drying flake free formula for dramatic volume from just one application with excellent staying power. For me personally it did give me dramatic volume but not from just one application, it took two but that's OK as i always use two coats of any mascara. It was definitely flake free and the brush itself is nice..it doesn't clump mascara on it and its a nice medium sized brush. It was quick drying and the staying power was great. I also love the classy black metal packaging which i just realised being the fabulous blogger i am didn't take a picture of..please forgive!! I will do a separate post for you with pictures if you like.

Rituals Foaming Shower Gel

I did wonder why this months GlossyBox was so super duper heavy and it was because of this bad boy. A full size Rituals Foaming Shower gel. Again i believe everyones will be different as there is six available but i got the Yogi Flow Indian Rose & Sweet Almond Oil. I was really happy with the scent i got as i love anything scented with almonds. This does exactly what it says on the tin..a unique foaming shower gel which leaves the skin silky soft and smooth. My boyfriend was happy to see this in the box and quickly snapped it up to join his cosmetics in the bathroom..men!!

Now wasn't that box amazing?? A real mix of everything make-up, nails and skincare everything you need to prep yourself for a night out and with that added bit of sparkle!!

Once again i am really happy with my GlossyBox this month and i really cant wait to see what new amazing boxes they bring out in the new year.

A Day Trip To The Benefit Head Office ♥

A few weeks ago i was beyond excited as i was up at the crack of dawn to jump on a train to head to the land of TOWIE otherwise known as 'Essex' to take a look around the Benefit Head Office.

I have been a huge fan of Benefit products for as long as i can remember and have dreamt of actually working at the Benefit head office for a while too so to be invited down was really a dream come true. So off i headed to Liverpool Street to then 'relax' on a kid filled train to Chelmsford..damn leaving at 8am with so many school children around (i must be getting old as they were really rather irritating lol)

I arrived in Chelmsford and did a very London 'thang' and flagged down a taxi...damn being used to living in London as i looked like a right fool when the guy shouted 'im on a job already' oh god the embarrassment haha!

Anyway i finally made it to the bright pink bubblegum offices of Benefit!!

Exactly how i imagined it was full of girly character and filled to the brim with Benefit Cosmetics...god only knows how the men in the office cope :p

We were treated to some delicious breakfast before being taking through the new Christmas products and gifts sets.

We were also given a sneak preview of two new products which look seriously amazing which i can't wait to share with you soon!

Whilst we were there they had a live twitter feed on a massive screen so we could see everyones tweets to Benefit and also our own so of course i tweeted..it had to be done..i had to appear on the famous wall haha. You may even spot yourself on there ;p

I had such an amazing day meeting the Benefit team, walking round the office, scoffing our faces with food and writing a poem for the founders...yes that was pretty crazy, then to top the day off we were sent home with an amazeballs goody bag with some exciting products and even a Benefit necklace..crazy i know!!

The office was totally how i expected and so much more (they even have an office dog awwww) I hope i get to return again one day...thank-you so much to all at Benefit for such a bubblegum pink filled morning, i was in a daze for the rest of the day!

I have been keeping my eye out for a new iphone 4 case for a while now. I was recently in Westfield White City and spotted they have a new Cath Kidston store so of course i had to pop in..which is when my beady eye saw this beautiful case.

I absolutely love this case and think its really 'me' The gorgeous bird print really makes it different and pretty special. I think my phone loves living inside it ;)

It is a little pricey at £24.99 but i think its totally worth it and would make a perfect Christmas pressie.

Sorry i have been away a while and that this post isn't beauty related but everything with resume to normal from now on :)

Last Tuesday night i very excitedly trotted down to Waterloo to meet up with the GLOSSYBOX girls for a night of Champagne and fun on the London Eye in the beautiful night sky.

I am now a GLOSSYBOX Ambassador along with lots of other gorgeous bloggers and we were all invited down for a Welcome Party. Being a GLOSSYBOX Ambassador means there will be lots and lots of exciting things happening over the coming months and it also means i will receive a free GLOSSYBOX to try a week earlier than its due date. Although i am being the box sent for free and what with being an Ambassador for GLOSSYBOX this will not effect my opinion of the months box i will still be totally honest with my reviews which i have always been anyway...but i just wanted to clear that up in case you were wondering.

Getting the months box a week earlier means i can use the products lots before you guys know what they are then the day the box is posted out to you all i can give good, honest in detail reviews of the box and products.

It was a splendid evening catching up with some old and new beauty girls, drinking lots of Champagne and tucking into some delicious canapes. We were lucky enough to have 2 rotations on The Eye which meant we got to have a lovely chit chat with the GLOSSYBOX team and to be filled in with what is coming up over the coming months,one of which i will mention at the end of this post and all us GlossyGirls got to meet each other and have a good catch up! I have only been on The London Eye once about 4 years ago but during the day so i was pretty excited to have a whirl on the wheel during the evening. It has a totally different feel to it and i would totally recommend having a ride at night ;)

I really do admire the GLOSSYBOX team they were all an absolute pleasure to meet and they all even knew our names and blog names, now that actually means a hell of a lot as it can be quite tricky keeping up with us lot that is the blogging community ;) The GLOSSYBOX team i felt was a community in themselves and they all work their little bums off to keep their subscribers happy and to keep new and interesting products coming each month. Such a great team and such a great company. A huge thank-you to you all for such a wonderful evening and thank-you for inviting me! I absolutely love being a GLOSSYBOX Ambassador!

Now i know there was a lot of controversy surrounding this months box..it really does bug me as i think a lot of people really don't get the idea of GLOSSYBOX. I'm not going to go on a huge rant about it as i could go on forever but just to point out i have never ever been given perfume samples at a department store or perfume house and i wanted to try the Illamasqua Perfume way back when it was released so i was pretty damn happy to see it in this months box.

I was trying to pick a favourite from this months box but i literally love nearly everything. The only product i'm not too keen on is the FC5 Cooling Foot Creme, i actually love foot creams and was really interested to try this when i saw it in this months box...the only problem is i can't stand the scent of it at all!! It has fresh kiwi cell extracts in it which i instantly thought it would mean it would smell amazing however it really doesn't and to me smells far too strong its too much to use.

I know a lot of people were moaning that Nail Rocks Nail Wraps were in the box again but i really like nail wraps and use them a lot and can never have too many in my collection so i was thrilled to see these.

The Illamasqua Freak sample has made me put the full size on my Christmas List...its totally different to anything i wear which is why i think i love it. It is a real winter homely scent and one i will love wearing over the festive period. It is also great that with GLOSSYBOX you get a 20% off code when purchasing a full size which is going to please my boyfriend when he sees it on my Christmas List :)

The Dead Sea Spa Magik Bath Salts really really interested me as soon as i saw them. I must admit i haven't used them yet as i am not a huge bath person but i am going to have a pamper night soon and definitely use them. They say they alleviates dry and flaky skin conditions, helps improve and soften the skin, minerals attract and retain moisture to help maintain a healthy complexion, relieves aching joints and muscular pain and refreshes,relaxes,soothes and produces a feeling of well being. Wow so so soooo much, think i am going to love them!

Now onto the last product and an absolutely amazing one...the MONU Recovery Balm. This is a gentle balm suitable for all skin types to provide immediate relief to sensitive or stressed skin. It is a light easily absorbed cream with soothing Cucumber, Elderflower and Mallow Extracts. MONU say this helps stressed skin to sooth ans skin reactions are sudbued. The natural barrier and lipid content of the skin is improved. Skin is naturally protected. You use this every morning after cleansing. The scent is amazing, the formulation is amazing and it leaves the skin literally silky smooth. I have really really been enjoying using this over the last 2 weeks and i think my skin has been loving it. You got a generous 50ml sample which should last me a good amount of time but i think i will have to purchase a full size once i have finish...damn you GLOSSYBOX this is what you do to me...make me bankrupt lol!

Overall i am really happy with this months box...i was a little sad that i didn't receive the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer in my box as this is something i have wanted to try literally forever but hey ho i got some other amazing products in my box and 2 i plan on purchasing full sizes of so for me GLOSSYBOX has been a winner this month as i have got to try some new products i would never have tried before and loved them so much which in my eyes is what GLOSSYBOX is all about!

Now remember earlier i told you i had some exciting news...well GLOSSYBOX for MEN is here!!

'do they know it's Christmas time at all'

I never normally get totally into the Christmas spirit as i have to work Christmas Day but this year i am feeling ever so festive so i thought i would merit this with BarryM Red Glitter Nail Paint....oh what a imaginative name!!

This is quite a finely milled glitter polish but very thick in consistency so only needs two coats but can look a bit thick and awful. Took a lot of effort and cleaning up to make this look nice and festive. It dries matte which i didn't like so i just added a super shiny top coat to make it look extra special.

I went on the London Eye last night and had a quick mooch around the Christmas Market with the GlossyBox clan which i will be blogging about soon and thought this nail polish was perfect for the occasion.

I do love this nail polish...not so much the application and I'm sure i will feel the same about the removal however for the festive period it is perfect and will sure cheer up my Christmas Day at work boooo...anyone else have to work Christmas Day?

Last week a lovely surprise dropped through my letter box from Sleek Make-Up...i do love it when they do that...thanks guys!

The collection will be limited edition and available from the 23rd of this month...it is going to sell out quick so be sure to pick yours up asap as you wont want to miss out on the collection.

The Berry Collection is made up of a True Colour Lipstick in Cranberry, Blush in Fenberry and a Khol Pencil in Mossberry. All are full sized products and have their own warm shade of berry for a vampy kick of seasonal colour.

The colours are not going to be to every ones taste as they are quite daring. Each product from the collection are true matte shades.

The pink toned lipstick in Cranberry is definitely one for those who want a statement stand out lip and not one for the faint hearted!

The blush and eye kohl i think would work perfectly if you have a darker skin tone. Unfortunately the colours just didn't work for me and the eye kohl is just the wrong colour to work with my eyes...it makes me eyes look dark,bruised and very red...not a good look.

The stand out product for me is 100% the lipstick...although it is matte and slightly drying i love the colour for the coming winter months and think it will be perfect for the Christmas/Party season!

Like i just mentioned the lipstick is matte so i like to team it with a lipgloss and i luckily have THE perfect shade in my lipgloss collection.

Perfect hey...it seems the berries were meant to be together.

The lipgloss is the exact shade of the Cranberry Lipstick meaning they look seriously amazing together adding a bit of true glam to the vamped out lips!

Celebrating 50 Years of Lipcote!

I am pretty sure you have all heard of Lipcote..the cult product which has now been around for an amazing 50 years holding many lipstick colours in place for those luscious lips throughout the day!

I remember getting my very first Lipcote when i was about 15 or 16...back then i wasn't really a huge lipstick fan more of a lipgloss but being a true make-up fanatic i picked one up anyway and gave it a try...i loved it and could see why so many other ladies out there did too. The only problem was it was very drying on the lips.

Luckily for me and all the other lipstick geeks out there Lipcote has had a bit of a make-over with the packaging and the scent of the product..which is now Vanilla mmmm you all know how much i love Vanilla. With this make-over i think the formulation has much improved as its now not at all drying and the new scent makes it a joy to wear and keeps my lipstick in place all day even after eating a scrumptious jammy dodger from Gosh Patisserie.

Last night a few of us lipstick mad girlie's took to twitter to enjoy a Lipcote party and share our experiences of the cult product and to get together to celebrate 50 Years of Lipcote.

I road tested Lipcote at work...i was at work for 6 hours and wore a pink lipstick and i am proud to say after eating my lunch and coming home and pigging out on the Gosh Patisserie cake my lipstick was still in tact. It had slightly disappeared around the edges however the colour was still definitely there. I think if i had worn a lip liner this would have helped as well. I really enjoyed the twitter party and seeing all the gorgeous colours some of you had created so i cant wait for the weekend so i can try out even more colours and use my Lipcote once again.

A BIG Happy Birthday to Lipcote and a BIG Thank-you for saving us from our lipstick disasters...I'm sure many of you have ended up with a red moustache when show casing your favourite red lippe!!

I know they get a lot of criticism but i personally love celebrity perfumes...i am a huge perfume fan and most of the time celebrity perfumes are super cheap and smell amazing so you would be silly to pass them by really.

Stacey Solomon was a massive hit on the 2009 X Factor shows and she then went on to be crown Queen of the Jungle on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here...she has now written her own book, busy doing lots of presenting jobs and has now released her own fragrance called 'Smile'

I spotted this on The Perfume Shop website a few weeks ago and added it to my never ending list of perfumes. Slightly confused as to why there hasn't been bigger hype around it as it smells pretty amazing!

Whilst shopping in Savers my beady eye saw this for only £14.99 when the RRP is £19.50..i instantly knew it had to be done and i did something i have never done before..i bought this without using a tester, i was completely in the dark of what it smelt like until i got home ripped open the box and took a good whiff lol.

Well what does it smell like??

In fact it smells pretty similar to THIS well actually no not pretty similar...identical!!

When your first spray the perfume it is quite a deep musky scent with an ever so slight hint of sweet floral but once settled on the skin it is a deep woody Vanilla scent that sticks around literally all day. For only £14.99 you would expect to have to spray this at every opportunity throughout the day however once sprayed in the morning it lasts all day with that gorgeous winter vanilla scent.

I haven't had this bottle long and i know its not going to last me long either it is a 100ml bottle but i see myself needing another bottle by Christmas.

I also absolutely love the bottle so girly and bright and something i would have totally expected from Stacey.

I love the white bottle as this is something i have never really seen from a perfume bottle before and the pink bow really does top it off.

The only thing i don't like is the picture of Stacey..i don't really think it looks like her and as its black and white it really does stand out but really to be honest i didn't buy it for the box although it is really cute the way it is a window box.

Like i said earlier there hasn't been much hype around this perfume and i really think there should be. If you get the chance definitely give it a try and see if you like it.

Its not going to be to every ones taste and i am normally a sweet perfume kind of girl but if you like Vanilla i am pretty sure you will love this...i certainly do and it will definitely be the scent of my winter!

John Frieda Anytime Volume Refresher

A Little OMPH Whenever Wherever!!

As you all know i recently got my hair cut back into a bob and love my hair to have lots and lots of volume as the style suits it much better so i was so super happy when this dropped through my letter box recently.

This new Anytime Volume Refresher is deigned to refresh styles by absorbing oils for a fresh full look but not only that it recreates volume at the roots for hair that is falling flat. My hair falls flat literally all the time..i can spray my hair with hairspray at the roots and walk out to my car and it will straight away be flat grrrr so frustrating but lucky for me this Anytime Volume Refresher has saved my flat limp hair. The spray is so lightweight that if you find that other dry shampoos/refreshers weigh your hair down with so much product then this will be perfect for you.

I spray this into my roots lightly and rub it in to give looooads of OMPH and to absorb any excess oils...i do suffer with oily hair and my new fringe looks soo rubbish unless it it washed everyday so this is really saving me and keeping my style fresh for 2 days which really helps with being back at work. Also i will just add this does come out white and talc like so really have a light hand with it so you can go back and add more because if you start out with loads you will be pretty much stuck as you cant take it out lol Always start with small sprays then add more where needed.

To help this as well just make sure you shake the can vigorously!!

It doesn't have a particular scent its just smells pretty much like hairspray but fresh hairspray!

It is a anytime refresher and i love it so much i do really like to spray it throughout the day however being back at work means i cant take liquids or aerosols through over 100ml...this is 125ml which means it has to stay at home which is pretty sad as me and my hair do really love it.

Saying that for at home and out shopping it is a nice handbag size i do just wish eventually they will release a small travel friendly size.

I love the colour of the packaging and genuinely love the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Range...i will be reviewing some more products from the range soon so keep an eye out for those.

MUA Professional Palettes...Review & Swatches ♥

I am sure you are all aware of the amazing palettes from the MUA Professional range.

They are great value at only £4 for 12 eyeshadow...total bargain for amazing pigmented colours!

I have 4 of the palettes and i am going to share them all with you today.

Also just wanted to say sorry again for the slightly rubbish lighting in my pictures...how are all you bloggers dealing with the rubbish lighting and it getting dark so early now? I hate taking pictures with flash so have no idea what to do...advice would be much appreciated..thank-you please ;)

As you can see each palette is packed full of stunning seriously pigmented colours. Each palette has mostly shimmer shades but not at all glittery so its not too much. I know some of you would love some matte shades mixed in but to be honest i am a shimmer type of girl so personally love them all!!

I know there was so much hype around the Heaven and Earth palette when it was first released and i am still totally hyped on it..i swear by this palette for a daily basis as i can use every shade for a simple neutral smokey eye or even an all over colour with the lighter shades on a lazy day. Its the perfect travel companion as it has every colour you possible need if you are a neutral girl all packed into one palette.

Starry Night is also my favourite palette for a grey smokey eye for a night out. The colours arent too deep and dark which means you can have a very subtle grey smokey eye or build up the colour for it to be a bit more intense.

All colours are also great to use as an eyeliner with an angled brush!

All the colours are so creamy and don't crease at all.

For only £4 a palette you can really build up your collection of eyeshadows for such a bargain price and have the chance to play around with colours you wouldn't normally choose to buy. I can 100% say that there is a colour and palette for everyone as they have really thought about the colours in each palette.

If your only looking to get one palette and you want to play around with colours then i would definitely say the Glitter Ball palette is perfect. There is 2 shades for a neutral eye, 5 perfect shades for that dark grey sliver smokey eye and a mix of greens, purples and pinks for you to play around with.

Of course my favourite is the Heaven and Earth palette and if you are a neutral girl id go for this one but to try something new the Glitter Ball palette is spot on!

I'm still so shocked at how amazing these palettes are and i am sure there will be one in my make-up collection forever more ♥

NOTD Rimmel Pompous

Sometimes i just literally can't resist a sparkly nail varnish and when i spotted this in Boots recently i knew i couldn't pass it by, i had to pick it up and rush home to apply it to my nails.

This is from the 60 seconds Rimmel range in shade 610 Pompous.

It is a rich purple shade with a subtle red,blue and silver coloured shimmer/glitter with super amounts of shine.

Perfect for the coming cold months this is a perfect deep rich colour but adds something different with the glitter.

Application is so easy with the wide one swipe brush. I love Rimmel nail varnishes so love the formula as always!

This is such a statement shade and will certainly turn heads when wearing it.

First of all i just want to apologise for the slightly awful quality of my pictures...the lighting was really awful and now i am back at work i just literally have to take pictures with what ever lighting i have as i just don't have the time.

So like i just said i am now back at work after nearly 6 months off because of my knee operation. Its actually quite good to be back. I have had this Elegant Touch Flawless French Manicure Kit since the beginning of the summer and i wanted to save it to use for when i was back at work so i could have nice sophisticated nails hehe....

That is certainly what i now have :)

I have literally fallen in love with this amazing kit and think my nails will forever be manicured thanks to Elegant Touch.

The kit is so simple and easy to use..its also super quick for if your on the go.

The kit includes 56 french tips in 14 sizes, i have the short tips.

It really is true....Its finally here there perfect manicure that lasts

All you have to do is select each tip that fits flush to your nail.

Apply glue to only the white part.

Place the tip holding the tab on the end of your nail.

Press down and apply pressure.

Clip end tab and release away from the nail and white tip...is says to use nail clippers to ease it away but i didn't need to.

Apply one coat of base seal.

Then 2 coats of top seal

& Voila!!!

So easy and quick for the most gorgeous manicure.

I applied these on Tuesday evening and as i sit here and type my nails look exactly as they did in the pictures above...perfect manicured nails.

No chipping or fading they still look 100% amazing...i am so impressed!!

I do wish the kit included a nice pale pink top coat instead of a clear one..i do love the overall look now but it would be nice to sometimes have a pale pink base colour but its no harm to use a different pale pink varnish.

I really am so impressed with this kit and would recommend it to anyone...i have already recommend it to 2 people and i have only had them on for 3 days.

Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara Review.

I recently did a huge post on all the new Soap & Glory Cosmetics which you can read here and i said i was going to do a separate review of the new Thick & Fast Mascara so here it is today for you.

The reason i wanted to do a separate review of the Thick & Fast Mascara is that i felt i hadn't used it enough to give a full honest review but i am happy with how i feel about it now so happy to do the review for you!

They say...

This false lash effect mascara creates amazingly, longer, fuller fabulous lashes. Featuring Superfill False Lash Fillers, Shine Amplifiers and No Flake 24 Technology.

I just want to say i have naturally quite thick and full lashes with a ever so slight curl but nothing out of this world so mascara is a must for me. Just thought i would let you know as i don't have any before pictures for you to see.

I'm just going to put it out there straight away..i am really disappointed with this Mascara. I was expecting it to be pretty good as i love every single product from the new Cosmetics line which you can see from my positive reviews here. The brush is just far too big for my eyes and my eyelashes. With the brush being so large and the mascara being a rather dry formula it doesn't pick up my lashes well and it really took a lot of effort to work the brush through my lashes so they didn't clump together. Also with the brush being so big it meant it was constantly touching my eyelid leaving mascara everywhere ending up just being a huge mess.

As you can see from the pictures above...my lashes don't have much lift or curl and that the mascara is all over my eyelids. I would definitely say from the pictures above that my eyelashes certainly don't look like false lashes.

The brush is also far too big to use on my bottom lashes!!

I guess i am expecting so much from a mascara now after finding my holy grail mascara which you can see here with before and after pictures. I am so in love with this mascara it does everything i want it to do so i think i am now comparing all mascara's to it. I know the Bourjois Rotating Mascara hasn't worked for everyone so I'm sure there are a lot of you that will love this Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara. We all have different eyes and all have different eyelashes so we all love different mascaras for different reasons so please remember that.

I personally just want a lot more lift and thickness from my mascaras which why this one hasn't worked so well for me.

Some of you may like the effect of my lashes in the pictures above and i must say they don't look absolutely awful but i just much prefer and love the effect i get with the Bourjois Rotating Mascara. When i said i had found my HG mascara i really did mean it haha. I'm all up for trying new mascaras but have a feeling i am never going to love anything as much as my HG mascara!

Once again i just want to say that even though this hasn't worked for mean doesn't mean it wont work for you.

Also some mascaras do work better over time so i will be trying this again in a couple of weeks.

My gorgeous boyfriend actually surprised me with these recently and i think he did pretty well with choosing which palettes to get. He went with the safe option of English Oak as he knows i love my neutrals (yes my boyfriend knows exactly what i love and what i don't when it comes to make-up..he has had to put up with me talking about it for nearly 3 and half years now lol) he then went all out with the True Union Jack...knowing they aren't exactly colours i would wear but certainly something i would love to display on my dressing table and that is definitely where it sits.

I am very patriotic and very proud to say i live in London Town so love displaying anything with a Union Jack in my bedroom.

As you can see from the swatches above the colours are stunning shimmer shades and i have to say they have an ultra creamy texture. I love the design so much i kind of didn't want to even use them to ruin the Union Jack.

There is 6 totally different shades from greens to greys and purples which will suit any eye colour and skin tone. The shimmer and slight glitter really bring through the fun loving city of London and will certainly turn heads when rocking the London look.

The eyeshadows themselves have velvet HD technology that create the colours to look perfect under any light. Prismatic pigments catch light at multiple angles, reflecting the ideal colour for the light you are in.

I cant wait to get my hands on the other shades available...i just cant help to have the whole collection as they are just so super amazing!!

The packaging of the lipsticks is a pretty basic clear plastic with the FrontCover Logo on them. I wasn't expecting anything too fancy as they are mini lipsticks and you do get 20!!

I am so impressed with the lipsticks themselves...the colour pay off is amazing as you can see, they are so creamy and really lovely to wear.

The lip liner is fab as the colour matches each of the lipsticks in the kit. The lip brush is a little bit of a let down..to be honest i think its really quite bad..the bristles are really really hard and it has no shape what so ever so really doesn't help with applying the lipstick. I never normally use a lip brush so this isn't too much of a problem for me.

My favourite colours from the set are...Glow Worm, Roseceaous, Firework, Pink Papaya, Red Cork & Ammaranthine.

I absolutely love this kit and have loved experimenting with colours i thought i wouldn't have normally tried.

VIVO Cosmetics Highlighter

You all know i have a bit of a 'thing' for highlighters so i was super happy to spot this VIVO Cosmetics Highlighter in my goody bag from The Only Way is Blogging Event last Saturday.

This is a cream highlighter that is designed to illuminate, brighten and enhanced tired complexions. You can use it mixed in with your foundation for an all over glow or dab a bit onto your cheekbones and under your brow to give a gorgeous healthy highlight.

The product itself is very thick, easy to blend then dries quickly to give a stunning gold sheen with a slight pink undertone. It also lasts literally all day!

I do love creamy liquid highlighters as they tend to give a more stunning glow than powders.

There is one slight problem with this product and its the packaging..i love the actual packaging but the top of the tube is too big meaning when you squeeze the product a huuuuge amount of product comes out...you literally need the tiniest amount so you waste a hell of a lot of product which is really annoying. However i do love the tube packaging and the design.

You get such a great amount of product for only £5

I first spotted this at a Superdrug event a few months ago and gave you a sneak peak in this post here.

I am pleased to say you don't have to wait MUCH longer for it to be in stores as it is being released on the 26th of Oct so not long to go at all.

I am pretty much ALL about eyebrows. I get my eyebrows threaded every 4 weeks and like to keep them quite thick, strong and prominent. I have never had thin eyebrows i much prefer a strong brow and think it suits my face much better. Strong brows ftw!

Luckily for me brows have become one of the central emphases in the daily beauty regimes and play a huge part in make-up on the catwalk.

Gone are the days of plucking the life out of your eyebrows and a defined stand out arch are the way forward.

So lucky for us we have a great Brow Kit about to hit the Drugstore market...which is exactly what we needed, a perfect eyebrow kit for a great price and easy to access.

NOTD Andrea Fulerton Colour Layering System - Petrol in Water!

I have had my eye on the Andrea Fulerton Nail Polish range for a while and when i saw fleur talk about this particular nail varnish in one of her video's i knew it had to be mine.

This is a trio nail varnish known as the Layering System from Andrea Fulerton.

They consist of 2 different nail colours which are designed to be layered to create a third colour.

The layering system will have a darker colour and a lighter colour and they advise you apply the darker colour first for the true effect to happen.

So below in the darker first shade applied with one coat.

I then layered the lighter colour over top with also just one coat and this is what happened...

I expect there will have been a few jaws open and shocked faces then....how AMAZING!!!!!

I bet you totally didn't expect that to happen...to start off as quick frankly an awful green/brown colour to then turn into such a stunning unique blue with a purple duochrome that you cant help but stare at.

This is such a different colour and will cheer up any winter outfit. I have been wearing this shade non stop i love the consistency of the nail varnish and it lasts so well.

LOOK Magazine Make-Up Range ♥

I'm sure you have all heard of LOOK Magazine, a UK Fashion and Beauty weekly magazine showcasing all the latest must haves from the fashion high street and also the newest beauty products.

LOOK Magazine have recently launch their own Make-Up range prices starting from £4 to £18 and products from nail varnish to foundation and beautiful single eyeshadows.

The range is already available in Superdrug Westfield Stratford and will roll out in more Superdrug stores in the coming months. Also more lines will be added to the range in November.

The range is very colourful with pretty minimalistic packaging aiming more at the younger market i believe.

I have 3 items from the range to share with you today and i am pretty excited!

First up i have a lipstick from the range...

Loud Lips in Rock Candy

This is totally a 'me' colour...a very bright blue toned pink.

Its such a shame i didn't have this colour for the summer but i think this will be my must have Christmas Party colour...and i think i will certainly stand out from the crowd wearing this lol.

Its definitely not everyone's cup of tea but i love how bright and vivid it is. The formulation is so creamy so its not drying on the lips at all.

The packaging is slightly on the boring side but it doesn't have a magnetic closure which i do really like.

The Loud Lips RRP is £7

Next up is the Nail Pop nail varnish in Hotpants.

Isn't this the most stunning shade for autumn/winter?

I have to say this was an absolute dream to apply, it only needed one coat and dried so incredibly fast. I have never experienced a nail varnish to dry so quickly like this one..perfect for if your on the go.

These Nail Pops are a total steal at only £5

I think i have saved the best product till last and my favourite from the 3.

Make Me Blush in Pinch.

Again the packaging is slightly on the boring side but its not always about the packaging is it? It does have 'Make Me Blush' ever so slightly embossed on the packaging itself but i couldn't get it to show up in the pictures as it is ever so faint. I do love that it has a huge mirror which is also so handy.

This blush is so creamy and not powdery or flaky at all. You could use a light sweep for a healthy glow or build up the colour for a more intense flush.

It is a mid tone pinky plum with very slight gold glitter/shimmer. It isn't pure glitter it is more of a mix between a shimmer and a glitter. Its not too over powering so it just creates a nice sheen which is exactly what i like.

It really reminds me of Nars Super Orgasm but more of a plum pink where as Nars Super Orgasm is a pinky peach colour.

This is now one of my favourite blushers and at only £8 its such a bargain for such a gorgeous blush.

Now i know i said my reviews weren't in any particular order i have to admit this is my favourite product from the new Soap & Glory cosmetics line. This is a three piece flaw camouflaging kit that includes an amazing under eye brightening concealer, an 'on the spot' as you need it complexion concealer and a weightless transparent setting powder.

It is available in two shades light and medium and i have medium.

This is a great all in one concealer as the packaging is small and compact but big enough to include a nice size mirror..it can be used under the eyes and on any blemishes and the best thing is it includes a setting powder which is really great.

This is my favourite product from the new range as it is the creamiest concealer i have EVER used!! Literally you only need to use the smallest amount and its so creamy is blends so far and so well. You can even see from the picture above how creamy it is. The colour match works well for when i have a bit of the old fake tan on but for the winter months i think i will need the light version.

Show Good Face 2in1 Skin Energizing Foundation&Primer £11

Foundation and primer in one? Fab hey?! This is available in 6 shades from a very a pale porcelain to a deeper dark tone, they also have really funky shade names as you can see mine is 'A Nude Peach' so cute!

I just want to say straight away that this is totally the wrong colour for me..i need the shade down as its far too orange and dark for my skin tone but luckily i am still off work from my knee surgery so i have used this as my foundation around the house for the last week as i know i am not heading out anywhere just so i could really give it a road test. Like i said with the concealer it is the correct shade for me when i have some fake tan on!

This foundation is said to give you a dewy, bright, flawless finish and i honestly believe it does all of that! You must shake the bottle to activate the Lightscramble Luminosphere technology it has in it and also to activate the primer. If you don't shake the bottle it will be a little runny. It has a slight scent but nothing horrible it smells slightly like sun tan lotion to me. The coverage is high medium i like to call it so not medium heavy but a little more than a medium coverage. So great for everyday wear and as it has the gorgeous Lightscramble Luminosphere technology it is great for if your being photographed so perfect for a night out. Soap & Glory like to call it 'candle lit'

It has an SPF of 15 and gives a dewy glowy finish something i really want from a foundation. I have dry skin so i really cant give my opinion for anyone with oily skin so just bare that in the mind.

CheekMate Cheek And Lip Stain £8

This cheek and lip tint has special technology in it called Blush Boost which brings out and enhances your natural flush colouring in your skin as well as staining the skin for a gorgeous Rosy Glow...which is what the colour is called ;) This literally stains so much so really do be care full. I really love the idea of this and love the colour but i don't think i will be using it too much as its just not a very 'me' product. I must say though i do much prefer that this is a slight cream formula rather than a watery formula in a nail polish like bottle. If you do like the idea of a cheek and lip stain this is going to be a stunning colour for winter such a beautiful berry red.

Love At First Blush £11

Oh my how gorgeous is this packaging? This blush is available in one mutlishade brick: Pink, Pop and Pearl. This isn't a massively pigmented blush but it works as it gives a gorgeous flush rather than a huge load of product...oh how nicely i worded that lol. It is ultra creamy and has a skin smoothing emollient base. If your prefer a much more dramatic pigmented blusher this isn't for you but if you love a flush of pearly pink this is right up your street.

Glow All Out - Radiance Face Powder With A Super Dewy Finish £11

Eeeek i have a little soft spot for highlighters...i love them and if i had all the money in the world i would own millions..i really don't know why but i guess you have a soft spot for one particular product and highlighter is one of mine so i was sooooooooo happy when i saw this at the press day. The packaging is amazing, the embossed Soap & Glory is amazing and the product itself is amazing!! Amazing Amazing Amazing!!! Shall we count how many more times i say amazing lol Its annoying me so it must be annoying you I'm sorry.

I like to dust this over my cheek bones and down the centre of my nose to give me a luminous highlight. Again it is ultra creamy with a slight shimmer finish but not glittery.

This is another of my favourite products from the new range!

Face & Body Powder Brush £5

I haven't ever really used a kabuki brush but this handy brush is perfect to use with the above powders a its super dense and can pick up a great amount of product. Its really soft and incredibly cute. It is a natural bristle kabuki and is perfect to keep in your make-up bag.

Lid Stuff - What's Nude £10

I do love a good neutral eye and i love any neutral palette so i have to say i do rather love this one. The pigmentation isn't out of this world but it does the job with a mix of matte and shimmer shades. The shimmer shades are fab but the matte don't have great colour pay off. I use the matte shades for in my crease so i don't need them to be tooo pigmented anyway. For the price of only £10 this palette is a total steal and perfect for anyone who is just starting out in make-up and wants to learn a neutral smokey eye but with shades that you do have to work with and build colour up. Soap & Glory say these are to last up to 8 hours and wont flake,wont fade and wont crease. They are really very creamy but don't crease at all. I don't ever wear primer on my eyes as i don't really have oily eyelids and these lasted all day for me. The matte shades are slightly flakey but i think that's to do with the lack of pigmentation.

Lid Stuff - Smokey Dokey £10

Much like before the matte shades are slightly low on the pigmentation front but the shimmer shades are fab. One of the shimmer shades is purely shimmer and the other has a slight bit of glitter however you get no fall out from the glitter. Again this is the perfect palette for a dark smokey eye for an evening and perfect for anyone just starting out in make-up.

I do the Thick & Fast Mascara but i am going to be doing a separate review later on in the week.

So overall i am 100% impressed with the new Soap & Glory Cosmetics line and there are some products here which i will use on a daily basis and most definitely re-purchase.

I LOVE the packaging of EVERYTHING and i love the wording on the packaging its so cute. I also love the names of all the products...Smokey Dokey?? So cute and so different. I love that Soap & Glory aren't afraid to be different.

The prices are spot on and really affordable for great products with super great packaging!
